2020 AMAZON AUTO - CES RFP
We were tasked to develop a concept for the Consumer Electronics Show that would demonstrate how Amazon enables the future of mobility. This vision is one where customers can access a variety of mobility solutions, including autonomous, shared, micro and mass transportation options and has access to e-commerce, rich infotainment, smart home and connected services to create a seamless experience. We sought to design a destination of clarity and possibility with Amazon’s products and services at the forefront.
We took a pragmatic approach that utilizes an existing double deck structure and designed it as canvas for content and discovery. We found inspiration in architectural applications that deconstruct walls and facades to create a layered effect that feels grounded yet is open and free. A fabric mesh facade with ambient color projection acts as an attractor and corresponds to the product demonstrations taking place in the space.
